4.) Preparing early before dismissal. Some students tend to gather their things up as early as half an hour before class ends. This can be disturbing to other students and mentors. Focus on what your teacher is teaching so you can get all the info you need.

5.) No reading of magazines when in class. Never read magazines and other reading materials not related to the lesson when class is going on. It is improper and rude to show your boredom. If you want to get info relevant to the lesson, ask your instructor or wait until you get home and adhere to the best study practices.

6.) Don't hesitate to ask questions. If you have concerns, ask your mentor not your classmate. Don’t be afraid to raise your hand and ask a question to your instructor. He most likely knows the answer than your seatmate does.

7.) Be very discreet. If you’re hungry, wait until the class ends or be very very discreet when eating inside the class room. Avoid also other unnecessary behaviors such as yawning and most especially sleeping.

8.) Show respect to everybody. Be equal and respect every individual you meet and mingle with. Whether he is a TA, a fellow classmate, schoolmate or a mentor, give utmost respect to other people.

9.) Bring all important study materials. Always prepare your important school things before going to school. Bring textbooks, pens, paper and other study materials that you might need. Avoid borrowing from your classmate.

10.) Know how to address your mentor. Be cautious when it comes to addressing your professor. Listen when he/she introduces himself so you will know whether you should call him/her Doctor, Mister, Miss or by first name. Instructors usually tell the class how he wants to be called.

Class room etiquette not just defines your attitude in school but your overall character as an individual. This makes it crucial for all of us to be good and be a good example to others always.
